Just in: Yoggie Gatekeeper Card Pro
A review unit of the Yoggie Gatekeeper Card Pro just came in this afternoon via DHL. What is so special about the Gatekeeper Card Pro is that it is essentially a self-contained computer — with its own ARM-based processor, memory, and operating system packed into the form factor of an ExpressCard.
In short: A dedicated hardware firewall/security appliance.
The hardened Linux-based operating system offers a plethora of dedicated security function such as an IPTables-based stateful inspection firewall, Snort IPS, Kaspersky for anti-virus and anti-spam, MailShell for Web-Filtering, and VPN functionality among other features.
